Ahoskie, NC - Today Governor Josh Stein announced US Forged Rings, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty steel products, will establish a major production facility in Hertford County. The company says the project will involved three phases and carry a planned total investment of $875 million. According to the company, the project's first two phases are estimated to create 625 new full-time jobs.

The new facility will manufacture rigid inflatable boats to be used by navies, governments, and professional clients worldwide. Asia Boats currently has a manufacturing facility in Dubai, and will make Horry County their US manufacturing headquarters. The Company will invest $10.85 million and will employ 93 new employees.
